~Gymnastics~
This term we are learning some gymnastic techniques with Mr B. So far we have learnt to do a pike, a tuck, a stretch and a straddle.
We have learnt how to do some rolls using these activities. A hedgehog roll is when you use put your body into a tuck then roll. A pencil roll is when you put your body into a stretch then you roll.
WE also learnt how to do an elephant roll, a dish roll and another one that we can't remember the name.
Can you remember the name?

Rangoli Patterns
Today we started learning about Rangoli patterns. We don't know what they are yet but we think it might involve chalk, spray paint, knitting, powder, paint or
crayons. We have noticed lots of flowers and birds in the patterns as well as LOADS of colours. Room 8 learnt about blending last term and we noticed some blending in the rangoli patterns that we looked at.
